College/University Dorms & Apartments – Are you currently enrolled in a College? As long as you are taking enough credit hours you will be able to stay in the schools housing. If you would like information about the application process click here. For some schools you are able to live in your own apartment and nearby apartment complexes will offer lower monthly rent to students.

Things to keep in mind:

Make sure that the dormitory is open during the holidays. Some dorms close over the holidays and you would have to find alternative housing for that time. Also keep in mind that you will have to find alternative housing during the summer as dorms will be closed as well.

If you are able to stay in the dorms over the holidays what will you do for food as the cafeteria is often closed.
